Neil Miller, first appointed to the Idaho Transportation Board in 1995, was reappointed to a third term and confirmed recently by the state Senate. His new term will run through Jan. 31, 2011. He served two terms in the Idaho House and one term in the Senate, concluding his legislative service in 1972. Miller represents ITD’s District 5, which encompasses Bannock, Bear Lake, Bingham, Caribou, Franklin, Oneida and Power counties. An Idaho Falls attorney, Combo was chief counsel and later deputy manager of the Department of Energy’s Idaho operations office in Idaho Falls. He was a member of the Idaho Falls Public Library Board for 12 years and holds degrees in engineering and law. He was first appointed to the transportation board in 1990 and is in his third term, which runs through Jan. 31, 2008. District 6 is composed of Bonneville, Butte, Clark, Custer, Fremont, Jefferson, Lemhi, Madison and Teton counties. The transportation board meets monthly, and from early spring through late fall, conducts its meetings at each of the six district offices. |
