ITD's Treasure Valley golf league preparing for season

The ITD Twilight Golf League Committee is organizing for the 2010 season. The league will again play at Shadow Valley (along Idaho 55) on Mondays. We are anticipating a shotgun start between 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.

A nominal entry fee of about $40 is required to cover league expenses and the last night of golf. The weekly green fees of $19 for nine holes also are required. Golf carts are available at an additional cost.

“ITD employees and their families and friends are welcome to play,” explains volunteer coordinator Sue Higgins. “It is a fun league; no IGA cards are required. And it is a good opportunity to golf nine holes every week with co-workers and friends.”

Teams are comprised of two people. The preference is for “teams” to join; however, individuals also are welcome. The league committee will attempt to match individuals into teams of two.

The league will start April 19 and end on Aug. 30.
